EcoAgriculture Partners' project managers Chris Planicka and Krista Heiner were in Kenya last week to co-facilitate, together with EcoAg fellows John Recha and David Kuria, a gathering of landscape leaders from 15 landscapes in East Africa. Landscapes from Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Uganda were represented. The event was organized under the Landscapes for People, Food and Nature Initiative, with support from Norad.

Landscape leaders presented posters on the challenges facing their landscape, and how their integrated landscape initiative was working to overcome them. They compared notes on how to engage with local businesses, strategized about improving policies to support landscape approaches, and made plans to continue knowledge-sharing activities across the region.

For more information, see the event page on the Landscapes for People, Food and Nature Initiative website.
